The deal, in plain words.

What we do

HeyRegs builds a digital loyalty card for your business, delivers it to your customers’ phone wallets, and keeps it up to date as they collect stamps or points. The service is operated from 8 The Drive, Epsom, Auckland, New Zealand.

These terms are between us and the business that signs up. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you are confirming you are allowed to.

What it costs

Your first 60 days after publishing cost nothing. After that you choose: A$497 a year, which works out at about A$41 a month, or A$79 a month. It is the same service either way, with no tiers. You can cancel from your dashboard and it stops at the end of the period you have paid for.

Prices are in Australian dollars, per business location. Nothing is charged during your first 60 days.

Regulars in 60

Your first 60 days after publishing cost nothing. In that time we are working to get 100 wallet-loaded regulars onto your card.

A “regular” means one customer who has added your card to their phone wallet and visited at least twice.

If we do not reach 100 regulars inside those 60 days, you owe nothing, and you keep the card, the artwork and your customer list whether or not you carry on.

The free 60 days assume you actually run the programme: the enrolment QR on display where customers can see it, staff scanning during trading hours, and the card left published for the full period.

At the end of the 60 days we will ask you to choose a plan. If you do not, your card pauses rather than disappearing, and your customer list stays yours either way.

Who owns what

Your brand stays yours. Your logo, your photographs, your business name and the artwork we generate from them belong to you. You are giving us permission to use them to build and run your card, and nothing more.

Your customer list is yours. You can export it, and you keep it if you leave, including if you leave before you ever start paying.

The platform stays ours. The software, the card-generation engine and the underlying design system belong to us.

We will not show your card as an example of our work without asking you first.

Fair use

• Upload only images you have the right to use.
• Do not use the service for anything unlawful, or to contact people who have not agreed to hear from you.
• Do not deliberately issue stamps or rewards fraudulently, or help anyone else do so.
• Honour the rewards your card promises. It is your promise to your customers, not ours.

Outstanding points and unredeemed rewards are your liability to your customers, not ours. We show you the projected cost before you publish so it is never a surprise.

Stopping

You can cancel any time from the dashboard. Your card stops updating at the end of the paid period, and your customers see a note on it saying the programme has ended.

We can suspend an account that breaks the fair use rules above, and we will tell you why.

Limits

We work hard to keep the service running, but we do not promise it will never be unavailable. Apple Wallet and Google Wallet are run by Apple and Google, and their platform changes are outside our control.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, our total liability to you in any 12 month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost goodwill.

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
